The children at Renaissance Care Center have many different opportunities offered to them for their education. They are provided an excellent program complete with Certified Special Education teachers and well trained and caring teacher assistants. All of these professionals have many years of experience with medical and physically challenged children. This program is perfect for those children who are medically complex and have the need for 24 hour nursing care.

Our local district special education programs at McCall School, right next door, is where children with special education needs may go. McCall’s has an outstanding reputation for providing quality education for children with special needs.

FCRC, the Western Illinois Special Ed Coop, and Renaissance Care Center are working together to provide the best possible schooling for our children. Those children whose medical needs prevent them from leaving the building for school will have classes on-site at Renaissance. Others will attend at the local school in a classroom designed to meet their individual needs. Every child’s education is custom fit to his or her needs to maximize the opportunities for better outcomes.
