Comprehensive Plan
Health care services are organized and delivered through a plan of care individually developed for each child. The plan combines the efforts of the attending physician with nursing and other professionals.

Medical
Medical care is prescribed by the attending physician of the families’ choice. Our Medical Director oversees the entire medical and nursing program to maximize the continuous delivery of quality care.

Nursing
Caregivers are carefully selected and trained for this unique style of care where emotional and clinical skills are equally as important. Many of our staff has been working at our special program for over 20 years, loving and caring so deeply for each and every child under their care.

Rehabilitative Therapies
Our professional staff have years of extensive pediatric training to assist our children with all their physical, occupational and speech therapy needs. Our children also experience numerous stimuli including equestrian and aquatic therapies.

Dietary
Our dietary department provides a well balanced and nutritious diet plan daily, which is customized to meet the needs of each child. In addition to daily menu items we also provide a daily substitution for each meal should a child desire something other than the daily menu item.

Independence is our goal for each child. Because of the special needs of our children one thing we try to incorporate a sense of independence for each child into everything we do. This goal is met by using adaptive utensils to assist them in their dining activity. This enhances their dining experience and builds their level of self confidence and independence.

Our superior dietary services contribute to the overall health and well-being of our pediatric and young adult residents.

Physical Environment
We provide safe, comfortable, clean, bright, and cheerful accommodations. We meet all State and Federal Fire and Safety Guidelines. Our department has 3 large recreation rooms that are used to provide education during the day, and active treatment in the evenings and weekends. We also have a playground on-site with a walk path and awning so our children can be in the sun or shade enjoying the outdoors and the seasonal changes.

Recreational Opportunities
Our activity department provides continued social programming for our children. Our children have a monthly activity schedule that is made up by education professionals to meet the wide variety of their needs. There is an endless amount of programs available and going on nightly. Some of these activities are designed for attention span, therapeutic needs, communication, and tactile defensiveness, just to name a few. We enjoy running programs with the children and complimenting them on their progress. Whenever possible, programs are intertwined with activities for maximum benefit.

Our staff provides not only large group activities but also customized, small group programs to target more individualized needs.
