Comprehensive Plan
Health care services are organized and delivered through a plan of
care individually developed for each resident. The plan combines the
efforts of the attending physician with nursing and other
professionals.
Medical
Medical care is prescribed by the attending physician of the
families’ choice. Our Medical Director oversees the entire medical
and nursing program to maximize the continuous delivery of quality
care.
Nursing
Nursing services, whether it be skilled or custodial care, are
directed by a highly qualified, registered professional nurse with
extensive experience. Well-trained licensed personnel are always on
duty to meet the resident’s needs.
Pressure soars may be a very painful reality for many non-ambulatory
residents in skilled nursing facilities across the country. That is
not the case at Renaissance Care Center. Due in part to our
innovative turning and positioning program our incident of pressure
soars is 50% under both the national and state averages. That means
we care and take care of our residents.
Rehabilitative Therapies
Rehabilitative services, including physical, occupational, speech
and respiratory therapies are performed by competent and experienced
personnel with state of the art equipment.
Dietary
Residents benefit from an individualized nutritional program given
by a registered dietician under the guidance of the attending
physician. Delicious snacks and nutritional supplements are
available. Residents’ preferences are taken into account daily. In
addition, our dietary department provides the preparation of special
meals for events such as:
 |
Family Council |
 |
Father’s Day Cookout |
 |
Mother’s Day Tea |
 |
Holidays and other special events throughout the year |
Physical
Environment
We provide safe, comfortable, clean, bright, and cheerful
accommodations. We meet all State and Federal Fire and Safety
Guidelines.
Recreational Opportunities

for all residents. Outside trips are scheduled and arranged.
